Ever since my first show (My Chemical Romance circa 2008, I was 12) I knew immediately that music was my passion, I just didn't know in what capacity just yet. One day it just clicked. I mean, going to shows is one of my favorite things on this entire planet. To be able to escape from every day life, to be surrounded by a group of people screaming the lyrics to our favorite songs, it's something almost indescribable.
My goal is to be able to capture in a photo or a video what I'm feeling in the moment. What the fans are feeling, what the song that's being sung is emanating. I want to tell a story through my work.
So far I've been able to photograph many artists I'd only dreamed of seeing live, like Panic! at The Disco, Walk the Moon, The 1975, and Portugal. The Man. Most recently I've been out on the road documenting Vine star Nicholas Megalis, Los Angeles indie-pop group Kid Cadaver, and Portland Dream Punks Glacier Veins. But, I still have a lot left on my photography bucket list, and I'd love for you all to be a part of this crazy journey with me.
